De Kwakel, October – Inge and Carlus IJsveld made a bold move; they left their jobs to take over nursery De Hoge Es in Tuil. In the latest issue of Vakblad voor de Bloemisterij (no. 20), they share their story about growing cut hydrangeas.
They regularly invest in special cultivars that don’t just stand out for their looks, but also perform well with low heating costs. Right now, among others they’re growing Royal Secret, Royal Love, and – new this season – Royal Benefit from breeder HBA.
